Early mornings or late nights?
Neither! I’m a night owl but I also like my sleep.
What is one thing you will never sacrifice?
Sleep! If I’m tired I am a completely different person and cannot function. I’ve been known to take naps during festivals, car journeys and on sofas in between meetings.
How do you work with goals?
I am a serial list maker. I make a goals list at the beginning of each year and then break down the lists into quarterly achievements that I check monthly. It’s all very prescribed and serious but it’s my coping method and it works.
What would you say is your biggest motivation?
I am inspired by so many people and I have always had high standards and high hopes for myself. My motivation is the fact that I talk about what I want ALL THE TIME which ensures I get things done as I don’t ever want to be known as someone who is all talk.
What is one quote or mantra which you say to yourself?
I don’t have anything specific that I say but lots of things around the line “You’ve got this” – I’m an introvert and can struggle with normal social interactions sometimes and I have to hype myself up to do a lot of things and not chicken out.
What is one part of your profession which you don’t like but you do it anyway?
Networking. Contrary to belief, I’m actually very unsociable and really struggle in networking situations which is something that I have to do regularly for work. I find it exhausting.
What is serenity to you?
Classic beach, cocktail, bikini vibes. Or more realistic for Covid times… Walking in the woods with my pup and boyfriend with an oat milk chai latte, no phone, no distractions, just vibes.
