Early mornings or late nights?
I’ve always been an early morning gal, I love the feeling when you’re up before other people, the streets are quiet and you’re making the most of the day. I tend to enjoy the whole day more if I feel like I’ve had a good or productive morning.
What is one thing you will never sacrifice?
My female friendships. They are the people who inspire me the most and I always come away from spending time with them feeling really positive and full of energy.
How do you work with goals?
I’ve had a plan for what I want to achieve by the time I’m 30 for a while, and now that is fast approaching I have some loose 5 year goals. I think goals are really helpful to keep you focussed, but it’s also important to live in the moment and enjoy getting to those goals too.
What would you say is your biggest motivation?
The people around me. I surround myself with people who not only make me feel good, but also people that I’m inspired by. A lot of what motivates me is wanting to keep up with them!
What is one quote or mantra which you say to yourself?
‘Do something every day that scares you.’ It’s pushed me to do lots of things I’ve been nervous about and otherwise wouldn’t have done.
What is one part of your profession which you don’t like but you do it anyway?
Unnecessary politics. There are often lots of different opinions to navigate and I don’t think it always leads us to the best work, but I’ve had to learn to work with it and try to get the best from people.
What is serenity to you?
A sunny beach with good friends, fun music and a very pale rosé
